The SiPM readout plane for the ePIC-dRICH detector at the EIC: Overview and beam test results

Lead-author paper describing the SiPM-based readout plane developed for the ePIC dRICH Cherenkov detector at the future Electron-Ion Collider. Covers the design of the photodetection unit (PDU), integration of 256 SiPM pixels with cooling and ALCOR-based front-end electronics, and the analysis of beam test data taken at the CERN PS in October 2023 and May 2024.
