lernkarto — offline-capable LaTeX flashcard engine
lernkarto is a spaced-repetition flashcard engine for material that’s awkward for most flashcard apps to render: physics and maths notation. Cards support LaTeX/KaTeX out of the box, the whole thing runs as an installable, offline-capable progressive web app, and it’s self-hostable — no account, no backend dependency, no vendor lock-in.
What it’s built with
A single-page JavaScript front end (PWA, offline-first) with Python tooling for content generation. No framework dependency beyond the standard web platform.
